Tony continued to record and perform live with Joe Camilleri and The Black Sorrows.

In 2004, The Black Sorrows released "One Mo' Time", an acoustic album reimagining their classic tracks. This project featured Joe Camilleri, Claude Carranza, James Black, Joe Creighton, and Tony Floyd. The project aimed to capture the raw energy of their performances, with most tracks recorded in no more than three takes. The accompanying DVD provided behind-the-scenes footage and interviews, offering fans insight into the recording process.

After a hiatus, Tony rejoined the band In 2012, and they released "Crooked Little Thoughts", a comprehensive package featuring three CDs and a 72-page hardcover book with artwork by Victor Rubin. The album showcased the band's versatility, blending genres like gospel, zydeco, and swing.
